The “Academy: Leadership in the Creative Economy” is a high-end learning program aiming toward the 21st century leader / entrepreneur, creators of innovative and entrepreneurial organisations in the dynamic world.
The program consists of four sessions of which two abroad, and two in the Netherlands. It is tuned on the daily business and practical implementation. The core values are: exploring, achieving, connecting, inspiring / unlearning. The academy will start in October 2008. Participants are board members and senior executives of companies with an international focus.
We see the program as a joint ‘journey’. A trip with a clear personal and business goal. An important part of the program is formed by so called ‘strategic issues’ brought in by the participants. Inspiration, new knowledge, skills and insights are brought in by the tutors, professors, successful leaders and entrepreneurs who will share their own insights.
The learning process continues between the four sessions. During the so-called ‘peer- group-coaching’ participants will share their progress and ‘in practice’ experiences with each other. To obtain an even more in-depth understanding of the participant’s companies some sessions will be combined (if possible) by mutual company visits. All participants have a personal coach, with whom they can reflect upon their own learning objectives.
For this program we use the “total learning concept’. In nature, learning does not take place in a classroom. A large part of the program is geared to explore new innovative ideas and concepts in real life through company visits, city safaris, customer diners, and home stays, etc. All ways to look beyond the everyday horizon.
